By bed time that evening, James had already decided that the car should be painted Ford Miami Blue, as that's one of his favourite MK1 Granada colours. The engine bay must be the same colour and the engine (1.3 crossflow) should be black and silver.

His first comment when I lifted the bonnet off was "That's a small engine" !!!

He's used to seeing 2.8 and 3.0 V6s in Granadas !!!

I have an ex Granada 2.0 Pinto and 5 speed box lurking somewhere in the workshop - maybe .... just maybe !!
